au history The only child of lawyers Jim and Johanna Beckett, Kate grew up the midst of Manhattan. Smart, sassy, and always the first to speak her mind, Kate lets nothing hold her back and lives by her own rules. Since Jim could be a little overbearing, Kate learned to respond by rebelling; not always running with the right crowds or dating the right kind of boys. That said, she is a good and attentive student and extremely intelligent, and has had a nearly life long dream of attending Stanford to study pre-law. In her spare time, she loves to read, loves comic books and cheesy Sci-Fi television, and M&Ms are her favorite snack. Kate was recruited by the Academy and encouraged to go by her parents who thought it might teach her some needed discipline, and agreed herself, hoping it would look good on her record when applying to Stanford. | |
